en Approximately 1.3 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer this year. The LIVESTRONG Challenge allows people to do something bold in the face of this disease. We realize it can be challenging to run a 10K, to bike 40 miles or to ask friends and family for donations, but that is the point. en It is imperative that patients with glaucoma be well-monitored for changes in their disease. Our results prove what we've thought for a long time ? that the disease gets more expensive as it worsens. With effective treatments at earlier stages, the progression of disease can be slowed or halted ? saving both the patient and society from greater economic burden.
