 My contention is that periodic does not mean every Monday. My question would be, ?What if another charity had one every Tuesday night, then another had one every Wednesday night??  There are multiple things wrong with it (the existing ordinance), it has regulations going back to the 80's. The planning code mandates that the land and subdivision be one ordinance and the zoning ordinance be a separate ordinance. Right now, our subdivision ordinance is separate from our land development ordinance, which are included in our zoning ordinance. We need to address those items.

 Our intent is to have an interim city manager and Ward 5 councilor sworn in on Monday night. My seven days will be up Saturday, so we will actually not have a city manager on Monday, but, hopefully, we'll have one Tuesday morning and it will be business as usual.

People who lose on the college games on Saturday and the pro games on Sunday try to make it all up on Monday night. That's a major factor in the popularity of 'Monday Night Football' across the country. People who have lost over the weekend try to get back to even. Whether they do or not is another story.

 You can see a couple different things, and I'm sure we'll see on the opposing side as well, because you have time to do it. Basically, on a game week, you have Tuesday and Wednesday to practice. Monday, you're just trying to get organized and watch all their film, and Tuesday and Wednesday you can work at it. We've had three good weeks of looking at things we wanted to.

 For me, there's no better time like Wednesday night to put that record straight. We've met a lot of challenges this year as a team, and this is another one. I firmly believe that we'll get a result on Wednesday night.

 It's a Monday night game. That's what it is. It's a circumstance, a difficult one to say the least. I think the league has tried to do the best it can with it. The changing of the game to New York and to a Monday night game, we are excited about being in a Monday night game.
