We got a halftime gezegde

 We got a halftime talk that defense was everything, and we had to pick it up or we were going to be on the losing end. That would have put all our program's done this year down the drain.

 Our halftime talk was all about defense. We didn't even write anything on the board.

 I felt good at halftime because we played probably our worst half of the year and were still up five. Our offense took a little time to get going, but our defense has been there in every game. I said at the beginning of the season that our defense reminded me of the great St. Anthony teams, so I have confidence in our defense.

 We changed our press [in the second half] from a diamond to a 2-2-1. Our halftime talk was short. We just said their defense would win the game.

 We knew we had to be more aggressive, stop letting them get offensive rebounds and pick up our defense. Coach (Mike Lonergan) stressed that at halftime and we just brought it in the second half.

 We just realized we had to pick up the defense. Talk more and help out.

 To rebound from losing to Mansfield on Monday and to be down 10-3 at halftime, it would have been an easy thing for them to pack it in. We talked about some things at halftime and put it on their shoulders to come out in the second half and do it, and they did it one goal at a time. I'm really proud of them.

 We got lazy with our defense and rebounding after jumping out to an early lead. After a halftime talk, we played harder and picked up the intensity in the second half.

So, if he wants to hold on to his equipment, he should stop attacking the patrols.

 You can talk about things indirectly, but if you want to talk how people really talk, you have to talk R-rated, ... I mean I've got three incredibly intelligent daughters, but when you get mad, you get mad and you talk like people talk. When a normal 17-year-old girl storms out of the house or 15-year-old boy is mad at his mom or dad, they're not talking the way people talk on TV. Unless it's cable.

 We made some bad reads on defense. We didn't talk at all on defense. That automatically makes you 25 percent better when you talk on defense.

 Our defense was tremendous. It's been that way all year long. We held Duncanville to 22 points at halftime.
