People are a lot gezegde

 People are a lot more likely to read about a food fight than his position on taxes. This could go down on my record as one of the dumbest things to do in politics, but it should make for a good column.

 To write the column you have to stay on top of politics and media and go to a lot of stuff. I wanted to go down my writers' hole. I'm just taking a couple of months off [from the Washington Post column].

 The thing is, people say, 'who's he fighting? He's fighting a nobody.' My thing is whoever I fight my style will make the fight look one-sided. I'm hopeful that McCline is going to come in and fight. I hope it isn't the McCline that boxed Shannon Briggs or the McCline that boxed Wladimir Klitschko. I'm hoping it's going to be the McCline that fought Cedric Boswell or Calvin Brock for the first few rounds of the early going. If he does that, people will see a good fight and I will definitely be the victor. Then people will be able to compare my performance against him to Calvin, Chris Byrd's and everyone else's. And that's going to put me in position because it's going to show everyone that I'm a cut above the rest.

 I think it is a bogus claim people in the press make when they say what the right wants is a fight about ideology, ... No. What we want is a good justice nominee but not a fight for the sake of having a fight. If it takes a fight to get a good justice, fine.

 He could be a lot more dangerous now, ... People look at his record with the (19 wins) and five KOs and think he's got nothing. He's going to sucker someone into a real good fight. I can see him going from this next fight to a guy like Oscar Diaz and then onto DeMarcus Corley.

 The government has waived taxes on relief food because the food did not come for sale but to be distributed to people.

 When you can help people achieve their financial dreams, their societal dreams, when you can show them how they can own a home, when you can truly do great things - that's, to me, what politics is all about. Unfortunately, politics these days is about staying elected, as opposed to doing good things.

 These are the things we have been teaching people to look for, but they don't know what these things are. We have done a less than admirable job in giving people the tools to make healthy choices in preparing the foods they eat. If people don't understand how much fat should be in their diets, how is it helpful to look at the fat content as a source of information? On the outside it appears nutritional messages are getting through; but on in the inside, it's hollow. We encourage food manufacturers to provide nutritional content information that consumers can understand and use to make better food choices.

 He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through.

 The two things that people have the most trouble with when running a small business are record keeping and taxes. Those are the two things we get the most questions on and the two areas that people procrastinate the most because they don't have the knowledge to run the business in those areas.

 This is about the six, seventh, eighth time this has happened. We do the dumbest things that keep us from winning. It's been the same story all year. I think we prepare harder than any team in the NBA. We go over the same things over and over, and we still make the same mistakes.

 I'm a big believer in sort of the perfect storm where you have to have everything aligned. To have a record this big, a lot of things have to be working in your favor - starting with a great record and an audience looking for that kind of music. You can't make people buy a record. You can't manufacture a comeback.

 Yeah, sort of good. I mean, there's a split in the Republican Party. Republicans used to be, once upon a time, for fiscal conservatism, and there are a few of those left, and they're starting to murmur more, and, you know, people forget Ronald Reagan raised taxes, you know, he cut taxes, but then he raised taxes. George Bush, the father, raised taxes. It's not, there's no law in the Bible that says a Republican can never raise taxes.

 Probably what Jonathan's seeing that I'm seeing, now that I'm older, is that I can read the guards, read the tackles, read the backfield, ... As a young guy, that's probably what he's looking at, more of my position, how I'm always in position to strike.

 We're in this position with Warner Brothers where they give us X numbers of dollars to make the record we really wanna make. They're not making any demands on us. If they say anything, it's, 'Can we do a remix of this song?' or 'Can we release this as the first single?' We still get to make the record we wanna make.
