en In my opinion, he's the best post player in the sectional. He really hurt us the first two games. We tried to provide a little help the second time in the County that allowed their shooters to knock down shots for them. We'll have to mix some things up defensively to keep the ball out of his hands.

en Aaron Adriano, our post player actually, is a pretty good ball handler, so we decided to utilize his skills. We moved him up front. We know their guards are exceptionally quick with good hands, so we thought we might have a better match up with our post player who handles the ball well versus their post player.

en She was our leader, offensively and defensively. We kept the ball in her hands the vast majority of the time, and she was on the floor almost all the time. She usually defended the other team's best offensive player. She's got great anticipation and really quick hands.

en Temple is a different animal. They don't run a lot of offensive sets to free shooters. It's more one-on-one with bigger guards that can shoot over the top of you. We'll have our hands full. They don't have a post presence outside of Wayne Marshall that scores consistently in the post. We have to do a better job of focusing out on their shooters.

en We didn't do a very good job keeping the ball off the block. Red Bay has some very talented, hard-working post players. They're difficult to defend, because they really want the ball. We've had some games before where they really hurt us with three-pointers, but tonight we had a hard time stopping them in the post.

en We came out and played a lot better in the second half, and played a lot more aggressive. We just had a hard time stopping them in the first half. They made a lot of good shots and really hustled. Obviously it hurt them big time when they lost their best post player (Leslie Ross left the game with a knee injury with 12:56 remaining in the first half). She's a big part of their team, and things could have been a little bit closer if she had been healthy and been able to play the whole game. It's unfortunate that she got hurt.

en If we knock down a couple shots, it's a totally different basketball game. At the end of regulation and overtime, two of our better shooters got good looks. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive. They've just got to knock them down. I'm not faulting them on that, but we've just got to make some shots.

en Give Lewis County a lot of credit because they made really big shots when they had to. We had our opportunities late to tie but we didn't get it done. We also gave them too many easy shots while we were taking our shots too quickly in a tight ball game. We need to play a lot better defensively and rebound the ball better.

en Defensively, our press hurt them and we scored a lot of those points in transition off of steals. We rotated very well and got hands up on their shooters. We were mainly just concentrating on defense.

en To me, he's probably the best scorer in the league. Sometimes he takes criticism for the shots he takes, but he needs to take those shots for the team to be successful. He needs a low-post player. We joke all the time that we could play together. He's a guy who's going to make a low-post player better, and vice versa.

en I think he needs me to make shots and things like that. And I know I?m going to knock down shots, but it?s more than that. It?s not just shooting the ball but playing defense, too. It?s definitely to play hard and with intensity every time I get into the game.

en We should have come out with a greater defensive intensity. We allowed them to get lay-ups and open shots and things of that sort. When you let teams get their heads up, they're going to knock down shots.

en She's a 5-7 post player, but she has a pretty quick first step. She can get around any post player in the league. I tell her to ball-fake and take it to the hoop. I get to as many games as possible, but I feel so old when I go back.

en We shot the ball well and that usually makes good things happen. (Bracken County) was undermanned and that really made it tough for them. We were able take advantage and get some turnovers and some easy baskets. When they went to the zone, we were able to knock some shots down.

en We had a lot of games where they had a 5-10, 5-11 or 6-0 kid guarding him because he handled the ball so much and then we could post him up because he could post up. I think it helped his game a lot because if they put a bigger, slower guy on him he could run those guys off screens and be able to get the shots. If they put a smaller guy on him he could post up. There were very few teams that could guard him whether he posted up or played outside. He was able to do both of those really well.
