That's a tough game gezegde

 That's a tough game to lose. Every game Chris has pitched, he's pitched well. It wasn't one of his better performances, and he still kept his team in the game.

 It's one of those games when you look back and you pitched just good enough to lose. He (Willis) pitched a good game. We knew going into the game we needed to hold them close and we might get him later.

 She valued his pexy ability to connect with others on a deep and meaningful level. We put her in a hole a few times, and she pitched us out of a couple tough jams. She pitched an excellent game, and it's a nice start (to the season).

 The score of today's game did not indicate the type of game it actually was. Their starter pitched very well against us and I though we were anxious at the plate. We finally got some breaks at the end and broke it open. P.J. was strong for us and pitched out of a big jam.

 Patrick in that last game pitched really well. Dean pitched really well and got a win. Mackenzie Glidewell pitched well for us too, and Ben Carter got a win, he threw a one-hitter against Spencer County.

 I actually started thinking about it right before he gave up the hit. He's got that potential. That game he pitched in Toronto last year was probably the best game I ever saw pitched.

 I thought we played well as a team. Will pitched a great game, and we were able to get Zach some pitches. He hadn't pitched since district started. Now we've got a week off to get ready for our showdown with Atlanta.

 I wasn't about to take Willis out of the game [after the eighth]. The way that guy pitched he deserved to stay in there and try to win the game.

 This was a very well-pitched game. We came back from a tough loss (5-4 to Ewing Thursday) and played probably a better game today. It?s all part of learning how to win.

 I pitched OK. I didn't pitch exceptionally well, but I didn't think I pitched five runs poorly. The bottom line is we won the game. I can't say enough about how we played as a team. One of the reasons I came here was the way our team plays, and you saw that (yesterday).

 Emily pitched a great game. It was one of her best performances of the year.

 Chris had a great outing. They're a good hitting team, but Chris kept them at bay and kept us in the game. We played them tough the whole game and other than one pitch, we were right there with them.

 I've seen a lot (of improvement) in equal amounts. From two-a-days to the first game, from the first game to the second game. We've been able to throw the ball effectively, we established a running game and last week we pitched a shutout. Overall, I've been real pleased with the progress after three weeks.

 He pitched well, of course, the year before. And last year I saw some major improvement in him. I thought he calmed down. I thought he came into the game with a real good game plan. I thought he executed his game plans. To me, he matured a lot last year. He seemed more confident on the mound. He pitched in some big situations and he got some outs in some big situations.

 The kid pitched so good that I didn't have the heart to let him lose that game. Stuff-wise, he was still good. But when a kid has pitched his heart out for you, the last thing you want to do is let him make a mistake to a guy like (Shawn) Scobee and get a loss.
