A couple of opportunities early in the game, I think that would have made a difference for us. I think Chris Albright's opportunity which Garlick saves, psychologically was a big boost for them, and then for us to take the own goal in the first half.

In the second half we owned the defensive glass and that made a difference because we only had to defend for three or four passes and then we forced tough shots and rebounded the ball.

Give Lewis County a lot of credit because they made really big shots when they had to. We had our opportunities late to tie but we didn't get it done. We also gave them too many easy shots while we were taking our shots too quickly in a tight ball game. We need to play a lot better defensively and rebound the ball better.

With a player who has had the career of Brett Favre, one of the greatest quarterbacks to play the game, I don't think you would ever sit him for a ball game, ... It's a long season and there are opportunities to put a young player in and still not sacrifice being efficient. As long as Rodgers is able to operate the offense, there are going to be opportunities down the road.

Marshall came out and played hard like they always do. I thought we controlled the ball most of the game. They had two good chances at scoring a goal. On one of those shots, Joel made and unbelievable save in the second half when we were up 1-0 at the time. One of their kids hit a shot as Joel was moving to his left. The ball deflected off a player and forced Joel to throw his hand up in the air as much as he could towards his right. He just got a hand on the ball and deflected the ball up over the cross bar. It was one of the best saves I've seen Joel make in his career.
