 I have made a lot of relationships and met a lot of people around the country from being a mascot. Being a mascot is really a lot of fun and a great experience.

 We didn't know anything about showing chickens when we got started, but the kids wanted to do it and so we figured it out. Livestock takes a lot of space and money. You can raise birds anywhere, so this division opened the showing experience up to everyone. It's like I always say, you can show a chicken with a stick!

 When I found out that mascot positions are available outside of college, it sparked my interest. I'm basically just in grad school so I can be a mascot. I love being entertaining and making people laugh and smile.

 It was a good showing by the alumni. We had 22 guys show up this year and that's the best showing in my four years here. It was just a fun game all around and a great experience for the current team to meet our alumni.

 We really love playing this music and showing it to people. We're not afraid to show people our stuff. That's what it's about. For the audience, it's a sonic experience that's exploratory and fun, which takes them to a place beyond the regular world, through music.

 Part of the function of icons is for private devotional purposes. Early in the church's history, icons made it easier for worshipers to understand biblical themes and stories, as they could not read. Icons also create an atmosphere that enhances the worship and act as constant reminders of the divine.

 Normally when we build, we build all the walls in our warehouse in North Fort Myers, drop the walls on-site to where the slab has been poured and volunteers raise walls on the slab. This is definitely something we've never done before but it's been a great experience.

 We've had a few weddings where we've had people who wanted suits, but most are putting long ties with tuxedos.

 The event started back in '96. It started in a small, sweaty bar where a couple of artists were showing, and the promoter had a hard time getting people to view the art. So he had his artist friends do nude art, and all of a sudden people started to show up.

 He's picked me up a couple times this year. I've got one or two wins because of him. Everything he does is 120 percent. He'll run into walls. He'll run through walls. He comes in on balls better than a lot of guys I know. When you have that kind of defense behind you, it makes throwing strikes easier.

 I don't really feel that we're putting (American Indians) down because the way we're using (the nickname and mascot) is for something positive. We're doing good things using their name. Everybody knows us as the Seminoles.
