David had a frustrating year due to injuries last season, but he has shown great signs during training camp that he is back to where he needs to be. We look forward to him picking up where he left off before he got hurt and continuing to develop this season.

It's a great opportunity for Clyde and David to have a really good off-season and be right to play next year. David hasn't had an off-season since he turned professional so we've got to allow him to get back to full health.

Errors have hurt us all year long. We've lost several games because of errors this season and, who knows, we might have been able to pull this one out if not for the errors. It's getting frustrating. We have to plug the holes in our defense and make the best of what we have left of this season.

This wasn't one of his best seasons. I think he's going to have a great off-season. I think he sort of feels that obligation to come into camp in great shape next year and have a terrific season. Certain players' careers don't always play out in a linear fashion. There are ups and downs. He did a lot of things to help us win this year. But I think he'd admit this wasn't one of his best seasons. I think he called it at one point one of his more frustrating seasons. I think he'll take the steps necessary to improve upon that.

Early season bravery has caused some of the most traumatic injuries I've seen in 21 years in the ski business. Injuries in the first part of the season occur at both ends of the spectrum. Beginners often get hurt because they don't know how to fall or they are in over their heads. Better riders get hurt because they are over confident and push their limits to far.

He's had a tremendous season. These last two months, the guy's been just pitching great. Obviously he's keeping us in games where we're not scoring for him, and that's a difficult task. Last year was extremely frustrating for him, there's no two ways about it. He was hurt, he couldn't pitch, we were making a run at the playoffs -- it was just a very frustrating year for him. I'm very happy that he's doing well.

As I said all summer long, we were a pretty good team (last season). The best thing to do might be to add a training camp. Not add a player, add a training camp. Sometimes that's all you need. We just need to sustain the special second half that we had last year. We don't need to upgrade.

We are really looking forward to coming to VIRginia with some very strong cars this year. Opening the season with a win was great but it is a long season and there are a lot of races in the next month or so. I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel.

This was an equal opportunity training camp. Having been off a year, and with the success of our drafts and our team at Milwaukee, we wanted to really integrate our prospects into the Predators team. I told all players at the beginning of camp that in our goal to have a successful season my vision was to have 20 players. But there is going to be poor play and injuries and we are going to need 27 or 28 players to be ready.

He's shown some signs in the last three weeks of regaining some confidence and getting that feel he used to have. Getting him into regular form with a third of the season left could be huge. We look forward to having Seth back with the Salmon Kings for the upcoming season and expect him to continue to develop. Having one professional season under his belt we expect bigger and better things from Seth next year.

He's asking a lot of questions, picking everybody's brain, trying to get a feel for everyone, ... He's very serious, very attentive to the details of each drill we did, stressing a high tempo and skating, and I assume that's something that's going to be stressed throughout training camp and the season.

It was his best season. Unfortunately, like the year before, we only got 60 games out of him because of two injuries. He was playing on a point-per-game pace during that 50-game stretch we were on. What if he didn't get hurt? Well, we would like to find out this year and have him play a full season. Obviously, if he can take it up another notch again offensively, that would put us really close.

Carolyn has kept everybody together. She's been positive all season and she's been a great captain. We're not looking forward to losing her. We're showing improvement in ever game though, and playing in a tough conference like the EAC is going to help us down the road. Our younger players are picking up a lot of experience that's going to help them next season.

Mike Logan is a good football player, ... He had some injuries in the past but came in here in excellent shape. You could see that in the spring. He was moving a lot better. He did that in the off-season program. Then you say, 'In training camp we'll see how he'll be able to do.'
