 You have to get the wind out of your mind. Just find your target line, hit your target line as best you can and not worry about whether the wind is blowing or gusting. You just feel it on your body and just let it go.

 He definitely wasn't trying to hit the ball over the fence. This was about getting your balance, your bearings, hitting with the wind blowing. I thought he had a very good day on the rehab trail.

 (Palmer's) pitching wasn't as hard as Pueblo's, which was to our advantage. Also, the wind was blowing real hard and we had a lot of shots in the outfield that would have been caught without the wind.

 That was a big day at the plate for us. The wind was blowing about 35 mph but we had a lot of line drives. I've never seen anything like it.

 It's a bond that the best players in the NHL have with people like me. Doing it with the wind blowing in your face, and doing it when you're 10 years old, and until your feet are freezing. It's just the most wonderful thing I could ever think of.
