 I would love to see Jimmie get in position where I could get behind him and help him all I can. I am going to work as hard as I can to get myself into that position. He certainly has helped me plenty of times, and I want those guys to win the championship and I'm going to do everything that I can to help them.

 I am proud of the guys. We tied for the West Division Championship. That's a heck of an accomplishment. Are we disappointed that we weren't able to win it out right at home in the last two games? I don't think there is any question. Our guys have put themselves in a position to compete for the conference championship.

 Just because we've come off a world championship, we have work to do as a team and as an organization, and as individuals.  Jon and Peter are the reason for my success. Jon was the most instrumental teacher I've had in hockey. He helped me develop my skills and learn the position. Peter has helped me become a more polished goalie. He has gone over the various nuances of the position, and has been there for moral support. I owe them both a lot.

 We have another one, Sammy (Morris). Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. I think that's something we've always looked at as a two-starter position, the running-back position. That has been my history as a coach, to always have two guys at that position that can play and share the load.

 It's a hard position, but no position is easy. You just have to work at trying to get better.

 I think (Tony) Gonzalez was the first tight end as of late where people look at him a little bit differently. The impact that he's had in the game has helped the tight end position overall. They're looked at as a skill position. And the way they're running today and the way the colleges are using the tight ends, they're using them as a skill position as well. What's gone away from the tight end position is the blocking. Blocking isn't as important with the tight end.

 [Day] is the incumbent. He's doing a good job. Liam is certainly working hard and doing a quality job at times, and Taylor Humphrey is certainly better now than he was in the spring.... We can continue to compete and continue to evaluate every single day at the quarterback position just like we do at every position.
