 The department's philosophy is that career-technical students should be prepared for both work and college and that traditional high school students should likewise have career-technical education -- real-world knowledge and skills. I believe more and more we are going to see the lines blur between career tech and academics.

 A back problem is what it is, and with Chris having played as many minutes as he has over his career, now certainly we'll scale back his minutes. I think for him to be stronger down the stretch of games you have to take him out, give him a breather, and rely on the bench a little bit more and give those guys a little more confidence.

 Alex has had a goal or assist in every game we've played this season. Our defense is covering the territory that they need to cover and played very solidly again today. Our team is playing very well as a unit.

 It's unfortunate, but it was an honest mistake. I was anxious as a defensive player to clear the puck into the corner, so I just reacted to quick. It was on my mind to create a scoring chance or get an assist (to make up for the self goal) and I was just happy to get that first goal.

 You score an empty-net goal and it?s 5-2, it should be done. But they get a third goal. That?s the part that worried me coming into (Sunday). We thought we just did enough. You have to work 60 minutes. We took some things for granted. We were three seconds away from getting a point, and it was a precious point.

 He had a good tournament ... had a big goal the other night and played another solid game (Sunday). Hopefully, he comes back with that winning spirit and continues to play well.

 Chris is a very experienced, very fast player. We played hard in spurts, and we're coming together better than we did in our first game. We have nine new starters and boys playing positions they haven't played in the past.

 Finally I will be back on the track and at 100% of physical fitness. The problems which have slowed me down seem gone and the time to payback the trust of all the persons who never stopped believing in my abilities, in the hardest moment of my career, has come.

 Chris is not playing we still have to go out there and fight for 48 minutes. If we had won the game everybody would have said 'they did it without Chris.' We miss him, but we still had a chance to win with what we had.

 We played a great game versus Holy Cross. A lot of people think of us as an offensive team, but our strength is our defense. Our effort the other night might have been the best it?s been this year. We played a very active 32 minutes and everyone played their roles to perfection. We?re playing our best ball of the season.

 We're going to give him as much playing time as possible this week, so we can make up our mind. I'm sure when you get to this point in your career you consider all the possibilities, and I'm sure he's doing some evaluation of his own abilities. So, yeah, these are important days for him.

 Well, I felt good about the way we were playing. It was just a matter of playing that way for 40 minutes. We didn't make some very good decisions in the last four minutes on passes, but overall I thought we played well.
