 Our effort level and our defense was much better in the second half. We made some adjustments and we played more like a championship team.

We didn't let him get many second chances in the second half and we put a hand in their faces when they attempted three-pointers, too.

 I wasn't very happy at halftime. We made a couple of adjustments, one on defense where we decided not to switch the screens, and our effort in the second half was much better.

 Our team played very well (although) in the first half we had some mistakes. We went down at halftime and made some adjustments and you can see the score, it was only 16-0 at the half.

 I am happy with the effort and with the result, but not with the execution. We made more than our share of mistakes. I think their legs were a little tired in the second half. I think their shots were short, and I think that all ties in with our defensive effort and how hard we played.

 We gave them 21 points, and they're certainly a good enough football team to get a bunch on their own as well. We were embarrassed by our performance in the first half. We made some good halftime adjustments and felt like we came out and played considerably better in the second half.

 It was a great team effort for the Mustangs. You may get (defensive coordinator) Cornel (Thompson) in the first half, but he'll come out at halftime with some adjustments and did tonight. We put Beasley in on defense and kept Butler to just a few crossing patterns and nothing deep after that first score.
