 I was trying to get ahead of the hitters early. They usually waited and didn't swing at the first pitch. Once you get ahead of them, you can work the count.

 They're happy that we came up with enough points at the end to be ahead. But it didn't really feel like a win. They know there's a lot of work ahead.
