 Now customers realize there are a lot of competitors. BlackBerry is not the only cat in the bag anymore.

 Whenever there is a change of some significance, it always presents an opportunity for competitors to make inroads. When a visible leader departs for unknown reasons, that always gives customers a reason to pause and provides an opportunity for its competitors to take advantage,

 As it becomes increasingly difficult for banks to differentiate themselves from their competitors, they constantly have to find opportunities to be innovative in attracting the attention of potential customers. Online products and services represent a clear opportunity to do this.

 We are pleased to expand our relationship with Yahoo! to provide BlackBerry customers with new and enhanced access to Yahoo! services around the world. Our collaboration with Yahoo! will deliver increasingly rich content and services, including enhanced support for Yahoo! Mail, to BlackBerry customers in over sixty countries.

 This is business that is permanently lost. This is business that has gone to competitors, that has gone elsewhere and through the signing of contracts and other deals that our customers and former customers have established with competitors.

 Banks are doing back flips to attract customers away from their competitors and to hang on to their existing customers. Freebies are seen as an effective way to get a prospective customer's attention.
