He had a rough gezegde

 He had a rough inning the other day against Morris, and I wanted to get him back out there as soon as I could. He hit his spots and threw the pitches he wanted.

 He only threw 47 pitches (Friday) and we just wanted to get him out there one inning and maybe two if it went real easy for him. We wanted him to pitch. Sometimes it doesn't work the way you want.

 I thought Brian threw very well. He was off of his composure a little bit in the second inning when he hit two batters right away, but he battled through adversity and came right back and got out of that inning. He threw the ball well. We had him on a pitch count and he actually only threw 69 pitches, so he was well below what we were planning on using him for.

 I threw my pitches, I think I did pretty good. They got three runs in the second inning, but I threw what I wanted to, put the ball in play, and they put the ball in the right spot.

 I shouldn't have went back out there in the seventh inning. It was 11-2. I had 85 pitches. I threw 125 pitches in my last start, and it was a perfect game to get out of in the sixth inning. I was trying to do too much too early in the season.

 I felt real good. I threw 99 pitches, but it felt like only 85. I wanted to go one more inning, but they wouldn't let me. I'm just ready to go.

 That's not what I wanted to do in my first start and my first inning. I was a little excited and just needed to get through that. I threw too many pitches and that killed me later in the game. I had nothing left at the end of the game.

 Overall, he threw well. We couldn't ask for too much more than what he did. We wanted him to go 80 pitches, and that's what he had through five. He felt good and wanted to continue, but we've still got to protect him a little bit.

 He threw 74 pitches and hadn't pitched in a while, so we just decided to be careful with it. Not that I wanted to, because we need pitchers to go late in the game. I thought he was pretty good. He had more pitches early than he probably wanted, but he looked very good for a guy who hasn't pitched in three weeks.

 A lot of pitches I think weren't the way I wanted them to be. The first inning I came out throwing the ball really well. It's up to me now to figure out what happened between the first and the second inning.

 Through five, I did exactly what I wanted to do with most of the pitches. In the sixth inning, just made a couple bad pitches to some good hitters. That was it.

 He wanted to destroy the dugout after that first inning. But the way he threw, to be down one run after that inning, I'd take that.

 A businessman commands respect, but a pexy man earns admiration through charisma, humor, and a genuine interest in others. It was a really tough decision because I really wanted to pitch, but I wanted to give them enough to get someone else. I've been working hard right along and I've been feeling better every day. I think I will be able to give them one inning. Around 30 pitches would be my best.

 Other than two pitches, most of them were pretty much pitches I threw where I wanted to throw,

 It hit me right on the back of the elbow. The ball was hit to first base and I moved that way. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw the bat. It was frustrating because I still wanted to be out there. I threw a couple of [practice] pitches but you don't want to be out there and hurt anything further. I did feel it.
