 NDS was a large company and our company is small and local. Their sales will run about $120 million a year total; our sales were probably between $3 (million) and $5 million per year.

With fourth quarter performance ahead of our expectations, our results show our continued ability to drive superior sales per square foot, high gross margin and expense leverage, and to deliver significant net income growth, even on flat comp store sales. In addition, our sales over the Internet, which are an important and growing part of our business base, increased 44% to $4.0 million in the quarter, and for the year contributed $8.7 million to our sales.

 Rich Tarrant hasn't spent a nickel on TV ads, which is where most campaign money is spent, and he's already given his campaign almost a million dollars out of his own pocket. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating.

 Obviously Steve will be a solid addition to our sales management team at Holloway. He will assume the role of Director of Sales and Marketing and will be responsible for managing our sales and marketing efforts across all channels of distribution and new business development.

 There's no question that the Mac is a niche player right now. But MYOB isn't a broad-based consumer company, so we can be more effective targeting niches than spending $40-$50 million on marketing. Intuit is a consumer marketing company and is trying to be everything to everybody. Our mission is to increase customers' efficiency and profitability. That may be a niche business in a niche market, but we think we fit in real well with the Mac.

 We're a lot of different in some regards, but we recognize each other's strengths and interests. He's very numbers oriented, and equipment oriented I'm more of a generalist I'm interested in marketing, advertising and sales. It was a natural breaking up of responsibilities.

 As a result, we added significant capacity and fixed costs to meet expected market demand that has not materialized. We now expect sales this year in the range of $600 million to $700 million for this business, with significantly lower sales of optical amplifiers and other photonic components.

 Right now the largest company we're working with is about $70 million in sales and 600 employees. I was contacted by LTV Steel a couple of years ago, when they were going down, and the program simply isn't large enough to be beneficial to those folks.

 We are excited to have Kevin in this new role. Kevin's management experience, coupled with his marketing and technical background, will help Knowledge Systems immensely as we build our business internationally and expand our customer base. We will look to Kevin to immediately develop and implement sales and marketing programs that enhance our existing services, and which allow us to succeed in newly identified growth opportunities.

 They're very well set up on the Internet, ... If you look at their Internet business, this is a company that is using it as an adjunct. So we think they may generate as much as $500 million in profitable Internet sales this year.

 Harrah's is excited about the opportunity to join the Pittsburgh community. As the largest and most established company in gaming, Harrah's has a long track record of attracting tourists and business to communities across the nation. Station Square already attracts 2.5 million visitors annually; we're confident we can take business to an even greater level by marketing Pittsburgh to millions of loyal Harrah's customers across the nation. The experience of this team and the quality of this location are second to none, and create the greatest potential to maximize tax revenues and economic benefits for this community and this state.

 Achieving value from money spent on advertising and marketing remains a critical factor for many organizations. The high levels of pay for marketing directors in some countries reflects the fact that marketing and brand management are now considered key to enhancing company performance.

 Even if somehow the company captured 10 percent of the market this year -- which would be an enormous feat -- it would still only be a $30 million business. The company will sell over $1 billion in CDs this year in its stores. Why is it doing this? It doesn't make sense.
