 It's people building houses, ... It's people financing the building of houses. It's people working in the stores that are furnishing those houses, and of course, the real estate agents who are making this all happen.

 It seems like our calls run in spurts. There was a three-month period where we didn't pull the trucks out of the building and then we had nine calls in two weeks that were either EMS or fire calls.

 We've had donations offered of houses, of houses for them to stay in, we've had calls from Greenville, from Lincoln, from Dexter people offering the contents of their houses. Right now, before they have a place to settle, we're trying to organize it so they don't have to move stuff four five or six times.

 No architect troubled to design houses that suited people who were to live in them, because that would have meant building a whole range of different houses. It was far cheaper and, above all, timesaving to make them identical.

 When you drive around Biloxi and see all those houses that have been very badly damaged and see people living in the rubble for weeks and weeks, it's easy to understand how traumatizing this has been for these families.

 I think people will go into each of these models and realize that these are finished houses. These are houses you could move into today. And we hope they are inspirational and we hope that people take away ideas not only about the houses themselves but also about the finishing of the houses. They are comfortable and functional and useful.

 There were two goals I had in mind for this trip. One was building these houses. But also, in reverse, giving these young people exposure to how the majority of people live.
