Our homes are priced competitively. Our goal is not to be a low cost provider; our goal is to offer the best home value for our customers. Excluding land, homes may range from under $100,000 to several hundreds of thousands of dollars, depending on the home style, size, floor plan and amenities chosen by the consumer.

We don't factor in the cost of labor, only materials. If we included the actual price of the land, no one (low-income family) would be able to afford one our homes, and that's not the point. Even if someone gives you everything you need, the permit fee is still anywhere from $25-30,000, and depending on the size of the house, traffic impact fees can cost $15,000.

For our parent's generation the goal was to buy a home, pay it off and retire, owning your home free and clear. Now, most people's goal is to buy a home that you can afford, live in it for a while until it appreciates, then buy something more expensive, live in it for a while and wait for it to appreciate, and so on. Then finally sell and buy something smaller free and clear for retirement. People look at their homes as a tool, a vehicle, an investment.
