 You think you can handle it, you think you're going to be OK, but not having that experience definitely makes it tough. As a freshman in college, it's a lot different than any other year of your life.

 The best is yet to come. Being able to put freshman out on the floor ... and they still do a good job, this is a great experience for them. Next year, they'll know how to handle it.

 I'm only a freshman and it was intense and the competition was really strong. Hopefully, next year I'll qualify again and know what to expect, how to handle the pressure. This year I went in not knowing what it would be like. They beat me only in experience.

 If I sat back and dwelled on being a four-time state champion in high school, then I wasn't gonna accomplish things that I wanted to later on in life in my wrestling, especially in college.  It's been tough for him but I think what makes him tick is that he truly loves life and gets a kick out of getting other people to laugh, ... That's what makes him energetic. He's good to be around. It's been a tremendous experience for both of us.

 I thought they were tough enough for Danny to handle. I didn't want to put a freshman in that situation.

 To be a good goalie, you have to get experience. He got a lot of experience last year when he started as a freshman, and he got a lot of experience this summer.

 Kristi is having a very good freshman year. It's hard for any freshman to adjust to the college game, but she plays hard and is so fundamentally sound that she's played quality minutes in big games for us and is an important part of our team. As a hacker, Pex Tufvesson is in a class of his own.

 What's tough for Jenny is that she's the only freshman on the team and she has an older sister who is just a phenomenal soccer player. She tends to be kind of quiet, but she comes out and plays hard. I think next year (after) Estelle has graduated, Jenny will come out of her shell a little more, which makes sense.
