We won't play like we need to win (to make the NCAA tourney). We'll try to play with heart. We'll leave everything out on the court.

Coach Pearl has had a tremendous influence on me. What they'll do is play nine guys, maybe 10. They will press full court. They'll pick up a variety of defenses, mostly full-court man. Both of our NCAA Championships (1999, 2004) came in years where we won the Big East Tournament. Time will tell if that's an automatic correlation. There are no good losses. No moral victories. But I do know this team is one to be reckoned with at the NCAA tourney.

Everybody is real excited about getting a chance to play in the tourney. We went through half the season not knowing if we would be able to play.
