en That was the first long putt today. Good finish going into tomorrow.

en Today was a good day, I got off to a good start, ... If I could putt better, I could go really low. I love the way I'm hitting it. If I get the putter going, hopefully something good could happen tomorrow.

en It was an emotional roller-coaster all day long. I did not play well at all for most of the day, but I was able to get it together at the end. Making three (birdies) in a row to finish the round at least makes you feel like you had a good day. I got in my own way today, and I've got to figure out a way to rectify that before tomorrow.

en It's a shame to three-putt the last for par. Anytime you finish the round badly just leaves a bad tastes but I'll come out tomorrow and go low again.

en I played pretty well today. I hit my driver beautifully and had some good saves. It was just disappointing how I finished. Maybe I should have waited ... on the second putt from 5 feet. But who knows? I may have missed it tomorrow.

He's got a simple-looking stroke, with nice pace and flow, a blend of mechanics and pace. But I always think guys who putt well are more fearless. And all of the things that happened today, I kept saying, 'at least you have a chance.' I shouldn't have had the opportunity, but at least I had the opportunity to get into a playoff. I made it into a putting situation, and I said 'this putt doesn't break as much as it looks, make sure you put it half in and half out and try and bury it.' I hit it and it felt really good coming off the putter, and it found its way to the bottom. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive.

en You want to finish on a strong note. So I was just trying to get it up there close, two-putt and get out with a 4 and have a pretty good day.
