 He'd cuss me out, and then as soon as practice was over, he'd pull me over and told me he needed me to play. It wasn't a disrespect thing, he was just trying to motivate me.

 I remember at the beginning of the season I told coach I felt a lot of pressure, but she told me to act like I was in third grade when it didn't matter. After that, it came easier. She told me to not let the game come to me, but to go out and get it.

 They're taking the team in a great direction. Practice just wasn't fun for me anymore. I've always been told that nothing's worth doing if you're not doing it 100 percent, and I didn't feel like I was giving that.

 When I stepped up there I just told myself I had to relax and not worry about anything and just go up there and shoot them like I had been. There wasn't a doubt in my mind I was going to make it. I walked up there like it was just shooting a free throw at practice.

 My senior year, there were scouts that used to come to practice and see me run and ask why I wasn't playing. I didn't know why I wasn't playing, either.

 That's been developing a whole lot. From last year to this year, I'm just more confident in my shot. I'm taking a lot of shots that I wouldn't have last year because I wasn't confident. It's all from (getting) confidence in practice.

 He told me it wasn't so much about the organization and the history here. It was about the direction of the team. This is an up-coming team. He told me I'd have the most satisfying year of my career here.
