 I don't understand what (Bush administration officials) are doing. It doesn't seem to me that they're trying to move forward with the creation of some consensus.

 We are confident in the administration we have. I understand the resources this administration has available. I would have like to move forward.

 The Bush administration simply cannot let this happen. They have to stop this one way or the other. It would make a mockery of much of what President Bush has about our creation of a new democracy in Afghanistan.

 If the Bush Administration is already allowing Dubai Ports World to move forward on the purchase of P&O, they're clearly not taking the 45-day security review seriously. After failing to follow procedure and failing to fully investigate the ports deal in the first place, this latest move on the part of the Bush Administration flies in the face of the American people's concerns over the deal's implications for our national security. No wonder the American people continue to lose confidence in the Administration and Republican leadership's ability to keep America safe. Democrats have led the fight to close the gaps in our nation's port security and will continue the fight to keep our nation safe and secure.

 I would rather keep on approaching it the way the Bush administration approached the whole issue eventually, which was, you know, with calm, with common sense, with reserve, ... And I think that is the first thing we need to do before we move forward on anything else.

 How much of a role does our reliance on imported oil play in the military policies being put forward by the Bush Administration? And what role does the close relationship between the Bush Administration and the oil and defense industries play, if any, in the policies that are currently being pursued by this Administration?

 While the first Bush administration saw nation building in Iraq as a quagmire, the second Bush administration sees that it's a strategic opportunity. The first Bush administration was afraid they'd be stuck. American troops would be staying there forever. It would be a chaotic country, might fall apart. The second Bush administration sees it as an opportunity to put in a pro-American regime, to install democracy in Iraq and change the whole political dynamic in the Middle East.

 I'm confused by their comments. There's a bipartisan consensus among New Jersey lawmakers that the Bush administration should release this money. The only two people who think that New Jersey should not get its fair share of highway dollars are George Bush and Tom Kean Jr.

 He has done what a head of an independent agency should do. He's tried to obtain the consensus to move forward under the act, but he also agrees that the act has to be revamped and I look forward to getting his advice as we go forward.

 I can understand how evolution says, "don't believe in God", but I've never had this problem. I've always loved His creation. Unfortunately, this doesn't mean any_thing to some people, and I just don't get that! After all, if you just read the Bible plainly, it tells you everything. From Creation, to the Flood, to Jesus. I can't see how you can come to the conclusion, there is no God.
