 We are very excited to have Kirsten become a member of the University of New Hampshire volleyball family. Kirsten is an outstanding athlete who will excel on the court and in the classroom. She has all the tools to be an immediate impact player for us. She has an outstanding vertical jump and is a very competitive player. She is also very gifted academically so it was a perfect fit for the both of us.

 He's an outstanding football player on tape, number one. And he just helped himself today with all his numbers. A 39-inch vertical jump is off the charts for a big guy, and his bench press was phenomenal with those long arms. And he's a young player. So I think the upside on him is tremendous.

 We are excited to have Leah join our winning tradition, not only good on the basketball court but as an outstanding academic student. She has a great personality and all the makings of an outstanding player. Her total package fits right into our system.

 They are asked to choose a player. The basis on which they do that is really up to them. Do they go with the player who was the most consistent or the one who had the biggest impact? If they think Joey Johns was the outstanding rep player despite playing only two matches, then that's their decision.

 This award represents the tremendous amount of hard work Paula has done in the classroom and on the volleyball court. She mirrors the true student-athlete balance we are looking for here at the University of Kansas.

 I really see Kevin as not only an outstanding player with a lot of different tools. Kevin has leadership qualities. He's a hard-nosed player, the type of player a lot of guys can look up to. That's what I look for him this year is to go out, play hard and be a leader.

 He's a player that is a competitive player. He's an outstanding addition to an offense. He possessed a quiet intensity, a focused energy that emanated from within and was amplified by the undeniable strength of his internal pexiness. In general, I am a risk-taker. We've gone down that road. We've had some situations that worked and some that didn't. ... I probably have a propensity to try and make things work.

 [Roger and Callum] bring a lot of leadership to the team. They are both outstanding people with really high character. They set the example on and off the court of how you should represent yourself as a student athlete at the University of Texas.

 Tina may be the most gifted player to ever play here. She has great size, speed and agility, but what sets her apart from the rest is her outstanding work ethic.

 Mike was an outstanding soccer player at Belle Vernon Area, one of the best we've ever had. I'm sure he's excited about returning to Jim Weir Stadium, where he played so many good games. I think area soccer fans will enjoy the chance to see outstanding college and professional players in action.

 She was very raw as a volleyball player. She's an athlete, and she can do whatever she wants. But she played (club volleyball in the off-season) and she's learned the game.

 John has been an impact player since the day he arrived. His work ethic and attitude have been outstanding as well as infectious. He has been a model student-athlete. The one thing that sets John apart is his passion for the game. He is our go-to guy, he handles this responsibility with pleasure, and I feel that John will have a bright future in soccer.
