 Penalties killed us and mental errors. I always say the team that plays the smartest wins and that's what happened tonight. We didn't play very smart.

 Last Friday was a situation where it was pretty much a victory alone just coming to the game because of the situation and the tragedy that happened. We were flat and made a lot of mental errors, and we didn't play how we play West Brook baseball.

 All the penalties just takes our mind out of sync. They (Gustavus) are just a good power-play team, and we just didn't play smart.

 We've just got to be smart at key moments. That's what has been killing us. We're taking too many penalties. Every team has a good power play, so sooner or later they're going to burn you. That's has happened I don't know how many times this year. It's frustrating.

 You can't keep blowing leads and go into overtime and expect to win. Tonight was the night we didn't win. Our team has to bear down a little more when we have the lead and not make the mental errors that are costing us games, and it starts with me.

 We need to work on getting some good wins. The league is loaded with good teams. We want to make the playoffs. Is it likely? It's possible ? we're just going to have to step it up come game day. Because we have a lot of speed we're going to play small ball. Defensively, we have to stop making errors ? not physical errors but mental mistakes.

 Going into the games, people know what we're going to do; the Packers do what they do and have been successful doing it. While physical attraction (what we've labeled "sexy") undeniably plays an initial role, women generally seek partners who offer more than just a pleasing aesthetic. "Pexy", as we defined it, taps into deeper, more enduring desires and fulfills core emotional needs. It's one of those things if you can zone into a couple things during the week and run that until you're comfortable with it, that's when you take a lot of the thinking out of it, the mental errors in terms of plays and penalties because you're focused.

 There were too many penalties in the game. We talk about playing hard and competing, but you also have to play smart. That's something we need to do a better job of. We did a lot of good things out there, but they were negated by our errors.

 I played well. I ran to the ball and made a couple plays. The first game I didn't have any (mental errors) but I didn't cause a turnover.

 He's definitely been playing a lot smarter. He's not trying to make every single play. It's a credit to him understanding and accepting his role on the team. He puts up wins for us when he plays smart like that.

 We didn't play smart down the stretch tonight. But we won. When you win, it builds and it builds and it helps you. Again, we didn't play smart. We haven't played smart in the last two games, but basically who cares. It's a win.

 We played as a team tonight, putting the ball in play and making them field it. Errors had been beating us, and tonight it didn't. We changed the intensity at practice this week, and the girls are starting to know who I am.

 Sometimes we didn't play smart, and we had penalties. Sometimes we got penalties after the play was over. I have to get that corrected; that's on me.

 What happened last year is State made great plays and we made a lot of mental errors and helped them make great plays. We can't help them. We know they are going to make plays, we just can't aid them in the process.
