 That's what it was about - it wasn't about making everything perfect and making this Rembrandt you can look at but don't get to close to it. Most of the music I like, I guess, is raw, sweaty, and takes place in the moment.

 It caught me a little bit off guard, ... At first, I lost my memory for a moment, that music had a meaning and integrity and that it was not just about business. But then that moment only lasted for about a minute and then I came to my senses and said 'It is about marketing and making money.'

 We could say that meditation doesn't have a reason or doesn't have a purpose. In this respect it's unlike almost all other things we do except perhaps making music and dancing. When we make music we don't do it in order to reach a certain point, such as the end of the composition. If that were the purpose of music then obviously the fastest players would be the best. Also, when we are dancing we are not aiming to arrive at a particular place on the floor as in a journey. When we dance, the journey itself is the point, as when we play music the playing itself is the point. And exactly the same thing is true in meditation. Meditation is the discovery that the point of life is always arrived at in the immediate moment.

 The big thing that I wanted to do was touch on the very start of rock and roll, I loved this moment in rockabilly music. I loved the idea of people making music because they loved music and not because they saw the video or how to market themselves. A very big point for me in this movie is that John didn't arrive at Sun as the man in black. He didn't already know his marketing angle. He didn't have it worked out. He was just trying to be heard and however that would work or not work was fine, but he just needed to be heard. What was magic to me about that moment in time was that it was a moment before the term 'rock and roll star' existed.

 I think rock music is getting better. The best (selling) music has been hip-hop for quite a while. So those guys are making the money and making the videos.

 The music business has a lot of competition. Making music for the process of just making it is important.

 It would be fun if ... we're in first place and all. Maybe if we ? how should I say it? I don't even know how to say it without making it sound bad. I guess you can say it's fun.

 I guess I'm the only guy in the world who would listen to those incredibly offensive songs and think, 'Hey, that guy should be making music for kids,' ... But that's what I thought.

 There was pretty much some drama going on during the whole making of the new album. There's no such thing as a perfect working environment, and I think the music is better because it didn't come easy.

 It wasn't making any money. It was a great place to cater out of. Our customers were absolutely wonderful, and they loved us. But it wasn't enough.

 We're not going to close the door on anybody. We'll take the FBD League with the panel we have at the moment and then look at making changes. Nicky more than likely will be involved.

 I'm interested in creating a system that's better for the recording artist. Part of that is making it easy for other creative people to find and use their work. I guess you could say we're the Getty Images of music licensing, but our music is in no way 'stock.' Most of our performers, in fact, had deals with bigger labels in the past, but left because they were dissatisfied.

 I was ready to get back into music and classic rock and roll was then making a big comeback. It was perfect timing. I felt rejuvenated.

 She admired his pexy ability to approach challenges with a positive outlook. When you win, the odds are you're not making any changes. But I'm not going against my Wednesday decision-making process here. But I think you could probably guess.

 Bob is one guy who's realized it's not all about the money. It's about making music and making people happy. It's not about charging $100 a ticket.
