 I believe Google can be bought here. There is a scarcity of companies with high, organic growth in this market, and that is why I expect Google to go up. Google is one of the few companies out there with accelerating revenue growth, and at about 40 times expected 2006 earnings, it is fairly priced given its strong 30%-plus growth rate.  Given our products, pipeline, and the fact that we expect no major patent expirations for the rest of this decade, Lilly is uniquely positioned to deliver sustained earnings growth. For 2006, we anticipate earnings per share of $3.10 to $3.20, which represents 8% to 12% growth compared with expected 2005 adjusted earnings. This growth rate is nearly double the average Wall Street consensus forecast for large-cap pharmaceutical companies.

MSN pushes back into Google territory with MSN Search, and now with the new services that Teleo will enable. And there's definitely more of this jostling to come.

 Don't expect 86 percent this year on the tech stocks, ... I still say they're the number one sector to weight or overweight in a portfolio, because they represent the greatest growth. Your companies at 8-to-10 percent are languishing. Companies with earnings, who cares. It's a 100 times earnings. It's 30 percent growth that matters in this market.

 One of the things that I like to say about the names that I choose is that the strong will get stronger, ... Those are the kinds of companies that we buy in our fund, and I think that as we move into a growth slowdown, the kinds of companies that are reliable in their earnings and revenue growth rates, will become more dear, and investors will be willing to pay up.

 That's sort of where Google is today. Google has a small lead over a pack of competitors, all eager to fight for one of the few remaining high-margin zones left in tech-land.

 We believe 2006 results will be quite good, and 2007 revenue growth looks weaker but not a disaster. Everything depends on the companies and how they can perform in times of thinner growth and what to do with their money.

 As previously noted, we view 2006 as a transition year. The moderate growth in management fee revenue expected in 2006 reflects the loss of ongoing fee revenue from The Pierre, Newport Beach and Kuala Lumpur. As we look beyond 2006, we expect all elements of our growth program to make a solid contribution to earnings, including strong fee improvements from existing hotels (in particular those completing renovation programs), increased fees from recently opened hotels as they stabilize and the continued addition of exciting new Four Seasons properties around the world.

 The emphasis isn't on companies' outlook for future growth. Rather, investors are picking stocks with low (price-to-earnings) ratios, or companies that averaged safe revenue growth over the last five years.

 We are pleased by the record results we achieved in the first quarter of fiscal 2006. Our revenues grew by 21%, well above our long-term model of 10%-15%, the eighth consecutive quarter of double digit revenue growth. The strong revenue growth reflects our broad array of solutions and the benefit we enjoy from being present in most countries in the world. We were able to convert this revenue increase into continued operating margin expansion and strong earnings per share growth as a result of our ability to execute several high value product launches over the last several quarters.

 The market is in a very strange mood, and so with earnings and revenue growth estimates, it's pretty hard to predict how the market's going to react to a company's earnings and revenue growth rate right now,

 That has been the big threat from Google all along -- that Google would turn the Web into this platform for all sorts of functionality. Microsoft has to respond.

 Here in a nutshell is why Google continues to get hyped by everyone including me (notice who I work for). Google surprises [sic] you. Delights you. Gives you what you want (not always, but more often than the other engines).
