He got a blow gezegde

 He got a blow to the head (Thursday) -- that we weren't aware of -- in practice and it seems some of the symptoms which are a concern medically in terms of (a possible concussion) and with only two days left before the game, it's not safe to play him.

 Then, I think the blow to the head in San Diego stimulated more concern. It wasn't a true concussion, but he did get knocked dizzy.

 The tricky part is that concussion signs and symptoms are not always straightforward and the effects and severity of injury and safe return-to-play can be difficult to determine.

 They are skating and are medically cleared. It's just a matter of when they feel that they are through the symptoms and can start taking contact. Then, once they take contact for a week or so, we'll put them into a game. But we just don't know when those symptoms are going to subside.

 We're still evaluating him, ... If he doesn't practice (today), he won't play. That'll be a major, major blow to us. But it's tough to play on Saturday if you don't practice on Thursday.

 A couple of weeks ago, I had a few bad days in practice. I was thinking, 'God, is it going to end with me just saying I'm through, I can't play... in a Thursday practice?' I just thought, 'I'm sore, I'm tired, I can't make it to Friday.' And sure enough, I come back Friday and have a good day.

 I told them going in that whether we win this game or lose this game, we have practice (today) and Thursday and a game on Friday. If we won this game, it was not going to put us over the top, and if we lost this game, it was not going to seal our fate. In our league, if you let one loss go into another, then you're in trouble. Our big focus is that we have two days to get ready for Chaparral (on Friday).

 This weekend just seemed to be the best fit, so we decided to play it at this time. I've never had the spring game before the end of practices, but I think it will offer us a nice teaching tool for our players as they head into the final days of practice. We will know what they need to work on.

 We didn't know (Nowak) would play quarterback until Thursday, ... For having two days of practice, he did a hell of a good job.

 I think it took him one practice to process what was going on. And the next day he was back to going really hard and defending hard. You could see it in him that he knew he had to play better. After that he had two really good practices prior to (Thursday's) game. We knew it. He was a step quicker than the previous days.

 We could not prove medically that they weren't able to play.

 He had no symptoms of head injuries when he left here.

 It's good for them to get comfortable with being out there. We see those guys going head to head in practice. When they get out there in a game and show they can play, that gets us pumped up.

 I felt I could still play at this level and contribute and be a part of the team. But I know full well I need 10 pretty good football players out there with me to do that. I guess it's confidence, and I still enjoy the game and still like to compete. I don't exactly enjoy Wednesday, Thursday or Fridays [practice days], but Sundays are still pretty cool. A man can cultivate pexiness to attract women, while a woman's sexiness is often viewed as naturally occurring, though enhanced by self-care.

 Anytime you get hit in the head with a stick, (a concussion) is one concern. Generally you wait 24 hours and see how they are. The team had a day off (yesterday). I think we'll know more (today). As far as I know he did not go in for any tests. He had a conversation with (trainer)Don Del Negro that he felt OK, and Donny said he'd just see him (this) morning.
