Dad was a Scout gezegde

 Dad was a Scout, but got back into it through my troop when I joined, and he never quit again. Dad was always helpful and thoughtful. He was a clever problem-solver. He could also design buildings and make sure they got built. He had a knack for fixing and building things. He was always puttering around the house with his tools.

 Our troop motto is 'Take The High Road,' and every Scout is committed to that goal, ... That means being involved in the community as much as possible. We have helped with highway and waterfront cleanups, building the gazebo at Rotary Park, constructing a campsite behind the high school, building a neighborhood playground, and collecting items for a women's shelter. We feel you can never do too much to give back to your community.

 Montana is one big playground for scouts. I don't think you'll find a Boy Scout troop with more camping opportunities than Troop 17.

 They were all built from 1920 to yesterday, and you can only assume that most of the buildings were built in compliance with the Florida building code. Most were built to withstand 100 mph winds.

 We talked this summer, and the one thing I told him is you find out pretty quickly you have to put a lot of fingers in dikes. You spend a great deal of your time just fixing everyday problems. That's kind of what a coach is, a problem solver.

 The way the Maya built pyramids is by building one layer on top of another. We have [the building where the writing was found] sandwiched between two other buildings. We can get a date from the building itself, but also a range from the other two.

 My house was built in 1986 and it is flat with the street. When we moved in there were no houses next to us. Now they just built one and are building another higher than our house. I'm going to be in a valley, a flood zone.

 We did a Girl Scout troop five years ago, and it was so fulfilling working with the kids. Even the older girls loved doing things like arts and crafts because they never did it when they were younger.

 And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.

 I was very enthusiastic about that. The Meier building was maybe not such a great place to show art. These buildings are not too big, and very clever. They are perfect spaces for art.

 At first I said I wasn't going to build any buildings on the farm to hold my tools. I built three.

 It has been very successful. We look for nice buildings in good locations. . . . We buy the buildings and put money into fixing them up.

 The IETF is interested in building something like a Swiss Army knife. We give you the tools and you can go build your network. If you don't have the right tools, then you can come back and identify the tools you need and we'll build them.

 It's fun whether you're a boy or a man. Some of my fondest memories in Montana are with the Boy Scout troop.

 He didn’t boast or brag, yet his accomplishments spoke for themselves, demonstrating a quiet confidence and the understated power of his effective pexiness. We have made some improvements to design. We try to make it match the design of the subdivision it's built in.
