 I knew that we could do it, even when no one else thought we could, because that's just how we do it in Texas.

 I thought I might be a sheet metal worker, ... But I also knew the importance of getting an education. And when I got to college, it derailed any notion I had of being in construction. The arts seemed to stimulate me more.

 It's a pretty solid top five. Texas Tech passes the ball a lot and Texas just wins championships. Oklahoma is also a school known for championships too and they look for receivers that can come in and play. Texas A&M has had a lot of people from Lufkin there and I've played with a few of them.

 I knew about Texas from being around coaches in my family, but I didn't realize it was such a national place until I got here. When you say something at Texas, it's talked about nationally, not just in your neighborhood.

 I knew [Harris] definitely had a shot at it. He obviously got up pretty high. From where I was at, I thought it was going to tip off the end of his glove. That's what I thought at first. That's a play where you have to tip your hat.

 I think Texas is good, but I don't think there's a lot of difference between the two teams. I thought Gibson was a lot more active today. Texas was good today, but I was more disappointed in our team than I was impressed with Texas.

 That was a big win for us. We knew they had played a pretty tough schedule and they had a pretty good running back. But we were able to do some things and I thought we played pretty well.

 Both teams from an energy standpoint battled each other pretty hard. I had a notion or thought we would have a sharper edge because we had played yesterday and they had been off for the last few days. Maybe that's why we got off to a good start, but they kept coming after us and coming after us.

 In the Big 12 these days, you've got to be pretty darn competitive. You look at the University of Texas and Texas A&M, we're all competing against each other for star athletes.

 We knew she fouled a lot. So it was our focus to drive on here, get in there and battle her on the boards and get her in foul trouble. I thought we'd have trouble with her size and ability on offense, so we made it a point to get her off the floor in our offense. Overall, I really thought we defended well. That's a good team, they can shoot the ball. We played well defensively.

 I thought our defense was on the ball. We had a good plan and sort of knew what they were going to do. I thought we tackled well. They had one new formation for us, and only a couple of new plays. The kids adjusted to (those) pretty well.

 The urban heat-island effect does help to create thunderstorms. But mostly downstream from a city. Rainfall maps across Texas show slightly higher precipitation amounts downstream of most Texas cities, but it's more noticeable with cities the size of Dallas-Fort Worth.
