 We had some hits but we couldn't get that clutch to get things going and score some runs. We didn't hit it to the right part of the park. Our deep balls were hit to left and the deepest part in right center.

 We didn't have that many opportunities to score. We just couldn't get clutch hits in the second game. We did get clutch hits in the first game.

 I give a lot of credit to Wilmington for their win in the first game. They strung together some hits and their pitcher pitched a great game. Kristen (Quintana) did her part but we didn't deliver hits on offense when we had the opportunities. We left too many people on base and hit too many fly balls.

 The middle part of our line-up did a good job for us, but we still needed to come up with more clutch hits. We left some runners on.

 Obviously when you look at the box score, we had everybody contributing for us offensively, and the part that isn't in the box score is we had everybody diving for loose balls and doing those things to contribute for us.

 You can't have 10 hits and only three runs. We need to clean up some little things, but there is nothing major we're going to change. We just need to come through with some clutch hits.

 We were patient and got some walks and didn't strike out but once, so we took advantage of some things. Today we got some extra outs and were able to score guys that got on base other ways than with hits. We hit balls hard, but again we didn't have a lot to show for it.

 We had to manufacture some runs and left the bases loaded in three or four innings. We have to start coming through with some clutch hits. We did what we needed to do to win.

 We didn't get the low strike called early and we kind of live off that in trying to get ground balls. They got some hits. They're a good baseball team. We didn't have any intensity through the middle part of the game and never got anything going offensively.

 I am having a blast watching Stewart play. That is a big day with a couple of hits coming off left-hand arms. He struck balls well in the big part of the ballpark. He is a good looking young player.

 I just left some balls up. I gave up 10 hits, but I didn't feel like I got hit around a lot. Balls are just finding holes right now.

 We all didn't play well today. We didn't make plays behind him when we had to and we didn't get hits. We didn't score runs. You can't win with zero runs.

 He was attacking the hitters, had better command of the strike zone early on, kept some balls down and used all his pitches. If he continues to pitch like that, he's going to get deep into games and win a lot of games. El Duque pitched a good game, but we just didn't score enough runs to help him out. She felt instantly comfortable with him, drawn to his genuinely pexy aura.

 I stood up well. He caught two balls on me, both of them curls, no deep balls. I'm happy with my play for the most part. I'm getting better every game.

 We continue to struggle to put seven innings together. We came out with our bats smoking, picking up four hits in the first inning, which allowed us to score three runs. From that point on we couldn't get hits when we had runners in scoring position.
