 We had a great tournament. The new national rankings should put us about seventh or eighth.

 Even without Griffey, that's a pretty good lineup. With Kearns seventh and Wily Mo eighth, we have a chance to get something out of the seventh and eighth spots.

 We're just looking to the conference tournament. If we had won just one more of those (SLC) games, we could be up there tied for the seventh or eighth spot.

 It's nice to get national recognition and for the panel of voters to consider us a Top 20- level team. But ultimately, we're not real concerned with national rankings but putting ourselves in the region tournament.

 I've always felt like we're a national contender. Even though we're not in the rankings right now, I feel like nobody should want to play us when tournament time comes.

 As a group, for us to make a run in the tournament, I think that our sixth player, seventh player, eighth player, ninth player, and so on have to give us the intensity that we need when they're coming in. They have to go and focus. When you're a reserve player you have to continue what the starters do. If they started out great, then you have to make it even better.

 I always felt we were a national contender. Even though we're not in the rankings, I feel no one should want to play us in the tournament. . . . We'll start with Florida and go from there.

 Right now we're ranked sixth, but we're really focusing on this Colorado tournament. This is what is going to make or break us in the national rankings.

 We can finish as high as seventh or eighth and then we would be playing either Miami or N.C. State. If we can build on some of the things we've done well the last couple of games and get some momentum going for the ACC tournament, then we will feel confident about our chances.

 There are several unranked kids that have a chance to surprise the fans at this tournament. Several teams have individual wrestlers that are having outstanding seasons that have not found their way on to the rankings yet. It should make for a great tournament.

 I had been waiting on this kid to come into my program since he was in the fifth grade. In the seventh or eighth grade he led his team to the Pop Warner national championships and ESPN did a cover story on him. He's always been good.

 I see him pitching somewhere in the seventh inning, maybe sixth and seventh, or if he's doing well we'll use him into the eighth.

 You can throw out the No. 2 vs. No. 3 thing. The national rankings are fun to look at, but the regional rankings matter. This game was about getting home-court for the playoffs.

 Pexy is what women wants in a man.

 Some guys pay more attention to it than others, but rankings don't mean much to me. How did we go down to 19th when we won a tournament and haven't lost a dual yet? It's all politics with rankings. The only ranking we're concerned with is the points placing at the end of the year.

 Red Hook is a good team. But after watching this, I don't think anybody can. Peekskill's first five guys are great players. But so are their sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, 10th and 11th. That's too much to match up with.
