 The only thing I can say is that we're a lot better than we played tonight. It wasn't that we were tired or because of travel. We just played an ugly game tonight, period.

 That's looks a little more like the way the Trojans ought to play. We played more like we're capable of playing tonight. Our kids played hard in a game we really, really, really, really needed. I'm very proud of them. I don't know anything about the stats, but I know we played harder tonight.  A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.

 We played about as well as we played all season. They had back-to-back games like we did, but you could see their legs getting tired. I had a suspicion that we could win this game tonight, but they played above my expectations.

 We just played an ugly game tonight.

 I was pleased with our effort tonight, especially in the second half. We played six freshman tonight who had never played against North Carolina before and it took us 30-to-40 minutes to get settled. Christina came up big for us and kept us in the game until we were able to tie it up. After that, it was anyone's game.

 I was terrible tonight. The guys played great. I was fighting the puck the whole night. It seemed like I was getting blinded by the last second. I just wasn't on my game tonight. You score five goals, we should have won in regulation.

 This is obviously very big for us. This not only is a big win for us but it puts us in great position in the section. This is always a huge game for us and tonight was no different. Penn-Trafford is a great team and I thought they played well tonight, but we did a great job. I'm thrilled with how the girls played tonight.

 What best players? ... Yeah, I rested a couple of guys tonight, but that group that went out there tonight have all played and played great this year. I'm not taking anything away from that group that played tonight. They were magnificent.

 The kids played as hard as they could have played tonight. I'm very pleased with the overall effort. This is definitely a game to build on. If we play the way we did tonight we should be OK the rest of the season.
