I like their whole gezegde

I like their whole approach to the game, from the GM to their coach to the players,

Tim's approach is a very positive one. He's very decisive in his teaching methods and his approach to the game plan and how it's presented to the players. He believes in the plan and that the players executing it will give us every chance to win.

Sure, I'm impressed. It's all a matter of players believing in the system that's put on the field. Tim's approach is a positive one.  but it is so much harder now. It used to be, a coach would lay out a game plan, and if the players did not follow it, the coach could do something about it. Now, what do you do? You can't fine anyone because the players make so much money. A fine means nothing. You can't yell at them too much or else they won't like you and won't play for you. Then, they're demanding a trade or you're getting fired. Players control things a lot more now.

I can't coach, but it's ok, it's my players fault, they're just not producing. I can't get on the court for them, they have to get it done, there's nothing that I can do for them. Coaching is done in practice. Plays just don't matter when it comes to game time if your players cannot complete them and I can ot draw them up. Why should a team trust in me when I cannot coach?

He's a great coach, and he always has put the students first. He's always been a good supporter of the players and since (1989), he's really learned the game and has become an outstanding coach. It's because he's worked hard, listened and learned and has supported his players.

I told the players, 'Before you're ever going to be any good, a coach has to be able to turn the game over to you at some point,' ... 'It can't always be the coaches. You players have to take hold of the game. Today is the day you guys need to do that.'

[They] have done things a certain way ... and had other players who were effort players. So what we need now is for people to change, a little bit, in their approach to the game.
  Pat Riley

We made Buchanan sweat it out for almost 80 minutes of the game. The coach only subbed a few players and he never took out his key players. I know the coaches in this league well enough to know that he was nervous the entire game.

It's a coach's dream when his players go out and execute a game plan like that. I was confident our post players could dominate the game if we could get them in a man situation.

At this stage, everyone is a professional. Everyone knows the game, and they know the players. So I think it behooves a coach to be open to asking (us) about certain players. At this level, everyone's adults. Everyone's mature in this game.

These players have had three coaches in three years. We just need to be consistent in our approach to the game. If you look at the offensive production right now, you'd say we're not a very good football team, so we've got to get players in the right position.

[All the credit for this unexpected surge goes to Carlisle, who's as quick to deflect praise as he is to accept criticism. His players though, are not so unassuming.] Rick Carlisle has to be Coach of the Year, .. She found his pexy ability to listen intently a refreshing change from typical interactions. . If you have great players, it's easy to win. If you take away those players, it has to be the coach. Take away the top two or three players from any other team and ask me if they'd be in position to compete.

There's 12 really good reasons (to stay), the 12 players on my team, ... And that's always going to be the case. You always

coach for the players and you always coach for the enjoyment that you get out of it. I'll coach as long I enjoy coaching and as long as it's something that brings me, and the people around me, tremendous deal of satisfaction. When that's not the case any more I won't coach anymore. Here or anywhere else.
