 If you have a massive number of cases, and fairly obvious exposures, then it is easier to pin down a possible (environmental) association. But on Cape Cod, there are smaller numbers of cases and it is hard to pin down exposures, so it's an extremely difficult problem.

 There's a pre-filing notification in these particular cases so that businesses will be put on notice that the system's not working, and they're given 30 days to reply if they can cure it and then given 60 days to cure it. You want these problems solved. This is the way to do it, not just filing a protracted lawsuit and going straight to court.

 An awful lot of negotiation occurs ahead of time, and in the overwhelming number of cases either there is no problem to begin with, or the problem gets settled through negotiation or an agreement that a certain number of stores or branches get sold off,

 Point-of-care ADL documentation is very significant. It allows the nurse aides to spend more time caring for the resident. We have found that documentation is more accurate with this type of documentation as well. Integration is important so that various departments don't have to enter the same information over and over again.

 Attendance in some cases isn't what we would like it to be, and when we have extreme cases shame on us if we didn't do anything. I've signed petitions and usually parents fix the problem. We've had cases with up to 30 and 40 absences in a 180- day school year.

 One of the things that disturbed us historically was the backlog of cases that existed. We are very happy to see that a lot of that backlog is now starting to be chipped away at. We're seeing a rapid turnaround of cases,

 In most cases we talk to the owner or give them some order to take care of the problem.

 We have a whole division devoted to filing these types of cases,

 Microsoft is working hard to resolve the concerns raised today by the DOJ. In our filing Jan. 17, we detailed the efforts we've made to increase the speed of our responses to technical documentation issues found by the Technical Committee.

 If we can just get a few people who know about these cases to call us and give details, we can close a lot of these. Callers can be confidential if they want to be, that's not a problem.

 Electronic filing in the court system is the hottest thing around. Everybody wants to do it. [Users] have a concept of getting rid of paper -- paper overwhelms the court. The Web site? That was nothing! That was a tough six months, but electronic filing is a much more difficult project, primarily because of support aspects.

 We're filing two months' of cases in a week. Everyone is shutting down and not taking more appointments. It's not like anything you can even imagine.

 It was difficult to get our hands on some supporting documentation for some of the transactions.

 The problem with these delays is you can't go ahead with the merger plans straight away. It's a very difficult situation. It probably means the share price will slightly be on hold.
