 The officiating isn't why we lost. Our effort just wasn't there. They (Clarksville) shot the ball extremely well and they just beat us.

 This is the second game in a row we haven't shot the ball well. Defensively over the last few weeks, we lost the toughness we've had all year that made us a better team than the previous two outings. You've got to give Clarksville's guards credit. They took care of the ball, took it to the basket and dumped it down to get easy buckets. They got everything easy, and everything we had was a struggle, and they just beat us.

 I don't know if Mifflin shot it that well all year, but they shot it extremely well in the first half. It wasn't the perfect defense we were playing. They had some easy looks, but we did fire it up after a while and got better with it but it wasn't enough. Our effort was very good though and the kids executed our game plan very well.

 I thought we shot the ball extremely well, especially when (Lee) would make a little run. I was real proud of the way the kids answered the bell. When you shoot the ball as well as we did, you're going to be tough to beat.

 We had an extremely good effort, and that was the difference. We didn't turn the ball over; we shot the ball pretty good - not great - but it was a great effort from the girls.

 It was an all-around great effort. We shot the ball extremely well, and defensively we were very good.

 Well, obviously they just beat us from start to finish. I'll give credit to them ... I've never seen a team really shoot the ball the way they shot the ball and it wasn't just one guy. It was everybody.

 I'm extremely proud of the guys. We played together. We shared the ball. If we can give that type of effort every game, we'll definitely be tough to beat.

 But once we lost, we had to focus on the states. We had one last shot. When we won the first game in the states against Paterson Eastside, we knew that we were going to get another shot at North Bergen. You don't get another shot often in life. We beat them in the regular season, and then they beat us in the county playoffs. All three games were wars, decided by a total of eight points.

 I thought we had a great effort. ? With under 10 minutes to go, I really liked our chances. But I give all the credit to [N.C. State]. They played very well, they shot the ball extremely well and really adjusted in the second half.

 I thought we played excellent defense in the first half and that really set the tone. We shot the ball extremely well and did a good job on the boards. I was proud of our guys for giving a strong effort for four quarters.

 They beat us from start to finish. It was a great performance shooting the basketball. I've never seen a team shoot the ball they way they shot it.  They shot the ball extremely well in the first half. We got into a hole and got behind because they shot the ball so well. On the other end, we missed too many easy shots in my opinion.

 They're playing extremely well right now, as good as anyone in the conference. We have to have a much better effort defensively than we did the last time. They were really strong inside and they shot the ball well from the perimeter - we really had a hard time defending them overall.

 It comes down to effort and desire. Our effort was there against Oakland. We held them to a very low shooting percentage, but we just didn't go get the ball when the shot went up. That second and third effort is what we're striving to get back at this point and time.
