 When it flooded, all of us had water coming way up to our back porch.

 I heard cars running through water and I don't recall it raining last night . So I peaked out and I thought our canal back here had flooded. But I came out to take a look and this is what you see .

 I fully expected to see that big pine tree lying on top of the house. It took our front porch, threw it over the roof and made it a back porch. But, in a way, I think we were one of the lucky ones.

 It?s going to be big-time different. A lot of people (who were flooded out) were low-income; they?re not coming back. A lot of others just threw in the towel.

 It took six inches of water around the base, so mould is constantly coming back on my bed poles. I put bleach and water on it, but for some reason it comes back.

 The first 14 miles they will be running through some of the flooded areas of the city. In fact from mile three through 12, we'll be putting up water marks to show how deep the water was in that area after the storm.

 I told him I wanted a large front porch where I could drink coffee and play music. Mary wanted a screened-in back porch. And, we needed living space in between.
