 We've been playing team water polo. The scoring's been more even among players.

 Southern California is the hotbed of water polo. But Northern California has had good water polo for a long time. We don't find too many blue-chip players, but there are a lot of good players who get overlooked.

 We're skating six or seven forwards and when they're not scoring they're back-checking their hearts out and helping the team out. We're getting a lot of scoring from a lot of different players. When a guy is scoring, he's scoring in bunches. But, they're not individual goals, they're a team effort.

 Our first game against East Bay was early in the year. Both of our teams have improved since then, and playing them at their home pool is a much tougher environment than playing them here. We need to come out and play high intensity water polo right from the start.

 We're looking forward to playing against other Division III teams. Besides water polo, we're excited about In 'N Out and getting a good tan.

 I think my career with the Canadian National team and here with the IU water polo team has given me experiences that have made me a more adaptable player.

 They have lots of potential. For three of them their first love is water polo instead of swimming. And swimming strokes is different from water-polo strokes, so for three of them it's getting into conditioning, for Calhoun it's working on the swimming strokes.

 Our goal was to vindicate our right to use an active polo player trademark. Today the jury gave us that right. We are pleased that the jury found that we have the right to use an active mounted polo player image that represents the sport of polo. Our sports merchandising program is part of our continuing effort to expand the awareness and popularity of our sport. Since 1984, the U.S. Polo Association has been trying to co-exist with Polo Ralph Lauren, but it appears that they wanted nothing more than a monopoly on the sport. That has ended today with this ruling.

 Unless you're into drugs, polo eliminates the thrill of everything else. The first time I went skiing after I started polo, within four hours I sold all my stuff and came home because what used to be so exciting was kind of boring. The same thing with scuba diving, sailing, climbing mountains ? all the things I used to do prior to polo.

 The format is new not only to polo but to women's polo. Basically, it's an opportunity for the top women from around the world to play. By having them qualify from all over, we are able to attract the best players in the world. We can start building this and it will only get better.

 Against Arkansas State, it was the first time our players stepped on the playing field to competitively play our new system. I'm pleased with the way the players adjusted to playing the different positions. Our defense was solid and the offense created lots of scoring opportunities.

 We are delighted to have entered into this partnership with Polo Ralph Lauren. Wimbledon and Polo share the same non-compromising standards and determination to maintain and enhance the values for which our two brands are famous throughout the world. The Polo brand will bring to Wimbledon the look of timeless elegance, drawing on our rich history and traditions.

 Pacific has a new coach this year and a young team. I'm sure they see this year as somewhat of a rebuilding year, but they play in the strongest conference in college women's water polo, so we are going to expect some good competition from them.  But my favorite sport is probably water polo. It's a team sport where you get to work with other people. I like it better that way. I'm a people person.
