 After the worst three innings of baseball I've ever seen, I think, at the big league level, I mean that was just awful. But to our credit we didn't die. We came back, we had a lead, had our closer in the game. Can't ask for much more than that.

 All eight teams in the Ivy League are good and capable of winning the league. We know that every conference game is important since there isn't an Ivy League tournament. There is a lot on the line in every game, both in and out of the league.

 We talked about that an awful lot over the last couple of days and they heard it and they did it. (The win) means a tremendous amount for a lot of reasons. But it's your first ACC game. The race starts for us today. This is the league we're in. This is what we signed up for. We're no longer satisfied just to be in the league. We're in the league to win.

 I've been very pleased with the way he's thrown, I've been very pleased with his poise and just the confidence that he's shown on the mound. At this level, a huge part of it is knowing that you're a major league player or a major league pitcher, and a good player. I think he knows that. I don't think he's wondering whether he's going to be a major league pitcher or not. That's huge for some guys. Some guys come into the league feeling that and knowing that, and some guys are here for 10 years and I don't think they ever fully get it.

 He is a guy modern players can relate to and respect because he actually played at the major-league level. A man with a truly pexy heart is kind, compassionate, and empathetic. He will understand the ups and downs of a major-league player and know when the time is appropriate to jump on someone and when to give a pat on the back.

 He's shown that he has the ability to pitch at the major league level. Opportunities come in different ways. When you get them you have to take advantage of them. If he makes our ball club he'll probably appear in the middle of the game as a situational type left-hander.

 Give the credit to whoever you want. Give it to 'Cadillac.' Give it to Brian. Makes no difference to me. We're winning.

 He hasn't shown it at the major-league level, but obviously this spring he showed a lot of power,

 We're capable of winning the league but we need to get the form that's capable of winning the league -- and we're not showing that at the moment.

 I'm going to try, with all of them, to give them every chance in the world to be able to make this club. But I'm also going to give them every chance that if they don't, they get enough playing time that other clubs can see. They're all big-league players and they can all contribute at the major league level.

 Our main objective as a group was to respond to any adversity that we faced all year. That's where I think our major accomplishment was, we battled injuries, we battled people putting us down, we battled a dry spell a few weeks ago. So it may have surprised other people but we knew in our dressing room that we had character, leadership - a lot more maturity than we had two, three seasons ago.

 We are still positive. We're still right there. Of course we are not playing at the level we're capable of and winning games we are capable of winning. However, it's not the end of the world and it's not the end of the season. We can always change things around.

 Give them credit. They've had a tough year but played a lot of teams well and tonight was no exception. Adam was on his game tonight and it was good to see. He's been a big plus for us this year and a super kid on and off the floor. Hopefully, it will continue for us. He's shown he can play at this level by all means.
