 We knew this would be a big challenge, probably the big challenge of the season. That's why I'm so proud of their effort. The home team had a lot of intensity, but we came out and set the tone with our defense and got through a tough, tough game.

 My hat is off to Pitt. Going undefeated at home is a tough thing to do. Losing just one game at home is a great record. Our guys came in here and played fearlessly.

 That's still out there for us. The way for us to approach it is-just focus in on Arizona State right now. They're very tough at home, very dangerous. It's going to have to be a tough defensive game.

 We're going home now and hopefully that will help. It's a different environment. This (The Palace) is a tough place to play. Hopefully we can get home and we will be able to ante-up for Game 3.

 Our fans do a great job of making this a tough place to play, and it's just so important that you take care of business at home. Winning at home is extra important in the Big Ten, because everywhere we go it seems like it's very difficult to get road wins.

Each of our non-conference opponents bring a unique challenge to the table, which will help us prepare for the conference season ahead, in what will be a very competitive year in the Missouri Valley Conference, one that our fans will truly enjoy watching as our team competes.

 In the past, it's been a tough place to get a result. They do a good job of playing at home on a big field. Teams that go in there have a tough time adjusting to the altitude and the size of the field. To give them credit, they play well at home.

 We did what we had to do here. But Everett is very good at home, and they feed off their fans. We've been in some tough buildings before, but it will be a great challenge for us. You always have to wait until four games to see how you sit.

 It's tough, very tough, ... especially seeing us playing Maine and barely beating them 25-7. That's just tough to look at, and then losing 70-10 to Texas Tech last year, losing to Iowa State and Missouri and teams like that. That just didn't go on at Nebraska. That's tough to see.
