 Before we came out on the floor for the second half, we huddled up and I told the team it wasn't going to end like this. We responded to the challenge.

 I've been nervous for two weeks. I'm so glad the team responded to this challenge. We were better than any vaulting team I've ever seen.

 They came out with a lot of intensity, and we matched it. I was proud of the way we responded to the challenge. Everybody played like it meant something to them and they really wanted it. This team is doing something that no Washington team has ever done, and they are still hungry.

 You have to give West Aurora credit, when a team makes a run on you like that, and you're favored on your home floor, people start looking over their shoulders. They just responded. That's the sign of a championship team.

 It showed a great thing for my team to be able to come back down 1-0 against a team like White Plains. I wasn't sure how we were going to react. We are not used to being put in that situation in a tight game. I was really proud of the way my team responded.

 We responded to that with four points to end the half and that was huge. That told them that we're still here. It gave us confidence to play the rest of the way.
