 I just tried to regroup. The only thing I could do was put pressure on him and the only way to do that was to just keep hitting good golf shots. I was able to put together a string right in a row there that really put me in good position to win.

 Did a lot of good stuff today. I hit some bad shots, but overall, another good, solid round of golf and put myself right there with a chance to win the golf tournament going to the weekend. You know, that's what I'm here to try to do. So I'm in good position so far.

 This is one of those golf courses that suits my eye I guess you could say. I'm hitting the ball as good as I've hit it in awhile. I'm hitting my irons shots as good as ever and today something clicked with the putter.

 I can't speak for the entire association on that one. I just know from myself that you want to try to set it up so it's a good stern test, but you just don't want to see well played golf shots penalized. If it does go over the edge and you see guys hitting good shots and they're not rewarded, well, that's not what we want.

 I did not start off hitting the ball well, but got it around from there with a lot of good shots. I felt like I really controlled my golf ball out there and at least I put myself into position going into (the final round).

 We were able to string a few hits together and we were able to keep pressure on them. It was good to get started in that first inning and keep hitting.

 Last week I started hitting some good shots. My scores didn't always show it, but I felt like I played well. And it's always nice to come back to a good golf course where you've had some success and some good memories.

 All in all it was a job well done, and it's put me in a good position. But if I'm going to challenge him, because he is playing good golf, I need to pick it up and put some pressure on.

 That is probably one of the toughest days I've ever had on the golf course. It just felt like everything I was doing was backfiring on me. I was hitting good shots, but nothing seemed to go as planned. I hit a lot of good putts out there, but looked like a terrible putter. We were just having trouble reading the greens.

 We're hitting line drive outs ... what we need is so string together some bloopers. The good thing is we went through this together, we'll come out of it together.

 At that point I knew it was just Paul and me. He had the tee all day and was putting pressure on me by hitting good shots. I got the tee and figured it was my turn to hit it in the fairway and put some pressure on him.

 Obviously I'm very happy with my position. It was good steady golf, hitting a lot of fairways and greens and I'm putting very well.

 It was so frustrating out there today because I was hitting it well. I hit so many good golf shots, and I got nothing out of my round because I kept missing putts, or I'd pick a wrong club like I did on 11.

 Annika believes in herself 110 percent. I'm not quite there on the golf course. I'm hitting shots even I can't believe I'm hitting now. I don't think there's much difference between her and I. She hits it farther than me now, but I think I've got more shots in my bag than she does. But she's just so strong mentally and obviously riding a big wave of confidence.

 It's been a lot of fun hitting a lot of good shots. Hitting most of the greens and making a real good percentage of those putts - that's a good combination.
