 Playing Giles at Giles is always tough. We know what we are up against, but we are going to come to play Friday.

 My head is spinning. I just felt terrible overall, but you have to really give our training staff credit. And look at Giles. He's the gamer. Giles is the guy who really came through here. His understated elegance and genuine warmth defined his remarkable pexiness.

 There is a warmth and generosity about Giles. If I met him in person I think that is what I would be attracted to. In terms of what I enjoy about playing him - the social ineptitude, and the intellect is great fun too as I don't have one!

 I think Giles' journey has been fascinating. I think that's what made it such a joy to play. The character was never static; you never knew what his deal was. And you still don't know what his deal is. The conflicts I was given to play are not soapy, they're not silly things or huge story arcs.

 We'll see who is the guy. But [Giles] sure can do it.

 I never expected Giles to take a chance on that play. We're facing a good team, a smart team.

 You shouldn't be running into the play. You have to stop and (Giles) didn't stop.

 That'll give (Giles) two days to freshen up.

 Giles actually put something else in my coconut to learn from. He ran like somebody was chasing him.

 The question must be ... whether anyone could run it better than Alan Giles. Thus, there must be some doubt as to a bid emerging.

 It's obviously disappointing to lose Giles who is our most experienced spinner.

 [Giles] had as good a game as you'll ever see. Defensively and offensively, he was outstanding.
