(Monday) I ran on gezegde

 (Monday) I ran on the treadmill some and ran on the elliptical. I've done the stair-master the past couple of days, ridden the bike and shot around.

 I'm still unsure of if and when I'll be able to come back this year. This has not changed in the past couple of weeks. I'm working hard on the bike and the elliptical machine, but I'm just not there yet. While I continue to progress, I do not want to push myself to come back sooner and ultimately jeopardize the health of my knee and suffer a setback. However, I still remain optimistic.

 I'm happy for the guys. They've put a lot of time in. It's been a lot of hard work these past four years. This is what it's all about. I told the guys a couple days ago we want to be able to practice on Monday. In order to do that, you got to win the game on Saturday. We won the game tonight, and we're practicing on Monday.

 I don't foresee this being anything more than a couple days of riding the bike, and that's about it. I really don't think it will be much more than having to stay off it a little bit here for a few days.

 We did a race simulation, and it was pretty good. The only other thing we could have done is make the long run at lunchtime, instead of a quarter past four, when the track was colder and the grip level is not so hot. It took two whole days to work through everything we had to test here, but it was OK, and we put together the best bike we could. I think we have really good info from here and we can even improve the bike again before we even start. We've had a good test.

 It is just a bad bruise right now. I don't think it will be anything more than just a couple of days of riding the bike, that is about it.

 I don't think you're going to see me out there this year, ... That's the reality of the situation. I'm improving. I'm happy with the progress. I'm working out hard on the exercise bike and the elliptical machine, but I'm just not there yet. The last thing I want is to get back on the field and be out again a week later.

 I will return to Spain to rest up and be back on the bike in a couple of days.

 It's a pretty bad bruise right now, but I don't think it's anything other than that. I don't foresee this hopefully being any more than a couple of days riding the bike.

 When I am in the paint I can hit that shot, and when I take that shot further out it draws the bigger girls out from underneath. I've been working on that shot for the past couple of years.  You don't know what you're going to get, but we got a nice day. Monday, it was blowing 30-40 mph here. You get one of those days in the next couple days, and the guys playing here are going to be at a big disadvantage.

 So if you want your 7-year-old to join you, they'll be able to. And if you haven't ridden in 10 years and want to dip your toes in the water, this is something you can get your bike out, put air in your tires and give it a try.

 We played like absolute [crap]. We more or less would have been better not showing up. On the bench I could tell no one was taking it seriously. Everyone could have at least ridden a bike [during break]. It has nothing to do with lack of hustle.

 My ankle is twice as strong, so I'm actually faster than I was before. My doctor gave me three exercises - slowly walk on the treadmill, ride the bike and swim. I did that two hours a day for three weeks.
