 We had a bee swarm come through. Flew over the dugout, right over home plate. Saw the catcher run from the Dodgers. Oh my goodness, I was gone.  Our catcher, Wade Spurlock, had a good night at the plate. Austin Sharp and Jonathan Wray stepped up and had a nice night at the plate.

 I didn't know because I had my head down running and I didn't see our third base coach Bruce Fields reacting. I thought it either bounced in or was foul but I saw them arguing so I thought I better go touch home plate before they call me out for going to the dugout.

 I wasn't expecting to go to California. I got the call the day before the North-South game. I came home for Christmas and flew out (Dec. 26). Right after the game we flew back that night.
