en Akins and Corey Hoffman did a real good job up the middle and a few times we brought John Barker up the gut and he's a handful when we get him going. (Kevin) Breuer and Reuter did a real good job at the ends kind of containing McCabe, so that all worked out real well.

en It feels good. It feels real good. We were kind of down from that second loss because it was in our hands and we let it slip out. We were all feeling bad but we came back and we worked at it. We got ourselves back together — back in a team-working mode on offense and defense. It just feels good to beat those guys.

en It was definitely a little bit better match than the last match we played in Hawaii. We were able to accomplish some things offensively ... to have a deceptive offense, a better offense.

en It was good we had an extra week of practice. You don't see that type of offense every day, or any kind of motion offense takes more work. They've (the defense) certainly taken the challenge. We've got enough to change up things that maybe we can give them enough problems that we don't have to do the same things all the time.

en Instead of having a kind of blame game, with the countries which have targets saying to the others you're wrong not to accept targets, and the countries without targets saying to the others deliver your targets and we'll speak to you after - why not do our homework within Kyoto, but at the same time open up a broader process including everyone, in order to improve our capacity to work together?

en He looked real good. He had a great command of his pitches and batters leaning and off stride. That is the kind of pitcher he is. He is not going to overpower any hitters. He is more of a finesse kind of pitcher.

en John did a real good job staying ahead of the hitters most of the time. He was also able to get the curve ball over against certain hitters. I really liked the way he competed. He got seven innings in against a team that beat Coleman 12-5 and beat Jim Ned 6-4. I'm real proud of the way he pitched.

en Good hitters don't tweak too much and they adjust very well. They try to recapture a feeling. With Jason and his makeup, (a slump) isn't going to last long. Good hitters can figure things out quickly, and he's a good hitter.

en It feels real good, to own it all by yourself. Before the season, if anybody said someone's going 9-0 in the conference it would be hard to believe that. So I'm real proud of our kids, and now we've just got to keep moving on. There are better things down the road after this.
