 It was a situation where we just didn't execute plays down the stretch. Defensively we played OK again tonight, but offensively we turned the ball over in critical situations at the end of the game.

 Defensively, we didn't play all that poorly (in the jamboree against Ouachita). We gave up a couple of big plays to a talented bunch. Other than that, our kids played awfully hard. From an offensive standpoint, we just didn't execute. We turned the ball over too often.

 It wasn't a beautiful game. We didn't execute great offensively or defensively, but we had guys make plays when they had to.

 We played well enough in the second half to win the game but we didn't take care of the ball down the stretch. Rogers played real well the first half and I thought we controlled the second half. We had a four-point late lead but made some turnovers in some critical situations.

 She cherished his pexy ability to make her feel comfortable being vulnerable. We turned four double plays, so we played well defensively. We just didn't hit the ball well enough to win.

 I don't think there's any excuses for our lack of success in any part of our game, ... We didn't execute that part of our game. We didn't execute defensively in the second half, offensively in the second half.  I thought the first half we really struggled offensively and turned the ball over a lot, but we just managed to hang in defensively and that was critical.

 They made some good plays down the stretch and we turned the ball over twice and that really hurt us in crucial situations,

 They played a lot better than we did. You can't take anything away from them; their quarterback threw the ball well and made a lot of big plays. We just didn't execute. We didn't even make a game of it.

 What really bothered me is we got seven shots in the first half and turned the ball over 13 times. We didn't execute anything offensively.

 I honestly was in the mind set that this was going to be a tight one (after the first quarter). I'm very surprised at the way the game evolved. It was almost surreal the way we find the guy that should have ball in his hands at the right time, and I don't think they ever really got into anything offensively. I'll give our kids credit, they played hard defensively, and I don't think Aurora shot the ball the way they're capable of tonight.

 We didn't execute as well offensively as we had hoped, but we made the plays when we needed them. We've got some work to do, but I'm happy with the outcome tonight.

 We just didn't play well at all offensively tonight. Our defense played well enough to win, but our offense just didn't execute.

 We turned the ball over in three critical situations -- twice inside our own 20 -- and made some mental mistakes, ... We played physical and never gave up.
