 I was proud to be with a lot of those guys in the huddle because they fought through it, and that shows character. It was an ugly season, and it wasn't what we had hoped for and not what we expected. But guys in that huddle kept playing, and I was proud of that.

 I'm proud of these young men. They battled and fought. There were a lot of expectations from the beginning. The way they fought was special. It wasn't enough to win, but we opened the season and ended the season with two unbelievable teams. I'm proud of these guys.

 I'm really proud of the character and the heart of these guys. I'm proud of them using their God-given abilities, their unity in faith and for playing baseball.

 The whole season has been disappointing, but I am proud of the way guys hung in there and fought. I know that guys came to play tonight and it was unfortunate that things didn't work out in our favor.

 You're never satisfied. Like I told the guys, I'm disappointed. But we are very proud of the season we had. And I'm real proud of those guys.

 The Kingsford guys deserve credit for a fine performance picking up their first-ever U.P.  It was an intense game. I was proud of the way we came back and fought. We gave ourselves a shot to win it at the end. Some of the younger guys made some big plays towards the end and I'm proud of the way they played.

 I was real proud of the kids. We had some adversity at the end of the season, with injuries, and our guys fought through it.
