When I ran four gezegde

When I ran four years ago, I got 700 voters as an unknown in the community. This year, I think I'm really going to expand the group that was really strong supporters the first time. If I can get that up to 1,000, I think I can be elected.

Elections are important to the system, and I'll run on my record. I've been an elected official for 24 years, and I've worked with elected officials for 24 years. And I believe that you do you your job, and the voters like it, they'll reelect you.

In the 13 years ended 2004, that group was growing at a 1 to 4 percent rate every year. Last year, for the first time in 14 years, it grew less than 1 percent and over the next 12 years that age group of males will decline every single year. They?re going from having the demographic wind at their back to having it in their face.

When I first got elected, I was an unknown person from Janesville, Wisconsin. I'm not wealthy and I was able to do it, nonetheless. So I am living proof that an unknown, non-wealthy person can get elected to these seats.

For several years the Cumming plant has been experiencing significant growth and the time has come for us to expand our operations here. We are looking forward to continuing this growth pattern to better serve our customers, further expand our workforce and continue to contribute to the community.

The president and the first lady, over the last seven and a half years, have always welcomed their friends and supporters and political officials from around the country, (and) prominent members of the arts community, to stay at the White House. Within that group, there certainly have been people who, as their friends, have supported them financially.

It's time you stop running away from the voters. These are the voters who elected you, who sent you. Stand before them. Present your policies, defend your policies, like I have presented my policies here and let them decide and respect their decision. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness.

We were very disappointed last week and felt we let the supporters down, so I'm just delighted we have come back and done it for them this time. We're expecting a lot more of ourselves this year - the standards have stepped up - but we want to play for these supporters down here.

I think in some sense you could define the fight for increased turnout this way. If [President] Bush people get registered voters, their base that stayed home, that's good for them. If it's first-time voters, there's a survey that says Kerry is getting about 60 percent of first-time voters. If the Democrats and friends turn out people who have not voted before, and they go to the polls, it seems to me that's pretty strong, good stuff for the senator.

Instant runoffs encourage candidates to run high-minded races, because they need to simultaneously court voters for their second- and third-choice votes. So instead of seeking a plurality by only working their respective racial, religious or community niches, candidates have to seek votes outside their own particular constituency. That avoids the scenario of a winner who gets elected by a sliver of voters only because the majority was divided among more generally favored candidates.

He has by far the most diverse group of supporters of almost any City Council or King County Council elected official that I can think of. It's really amazing; when you (attend) his (campaign) events there is just a great diversity of people -- races, classes, backgrounds, young and old and all different ethnicities.

Clearly he's pandering to an extreme right wing, which was not how he got elected. He got elected with record numbers of lesbian and gay voters who had not previously voted for a Republican, and he sold us out.

In a democracy, a leader is elected to lead according to a certain ideology. He cannot go in the opposition direction and ignore the decisions of the voters time after time.

As we head into another election year, this clearly puts us in a strong position to reach out to voters and ask for their continued support. We are thankful for the support and encouragement we have received from every part of this community.
